Designed with the utmost care and precision, this new variator is the result of years of experience gained on race circuits and the most advanced CAD-CAM technologies available today.
One of the distinctive features of this variator is its movable half-pulley, designed with a larger diameter than the original. This allows for a significantly greater range of transmission ratios, ensuring unparalleled performance. Thanks to the use of advanced CAE systems, we have optimized the pulley geometry to avoid collisions even in the most critical conditions of use.
The new reinforcing ribs, developed to lighten the less critical areas, contribute to reducing inertia and dissipating less energy from the engine. The Malossi and MULTIVAR logos, subjected to a diamond-cutting process, give the variator a visually impactful aesthetic.
Looking at the shift curve, it is evident our commitment to expanding the operating range of the variator, especially in low gear, to achieve even more intense acceleration and responsiveness, while maintaining the linearity of the shift and almost unchanged engine speed. We have further reduced the tolerances between the hub and bushing, minimizing roughness to achieve an unbeatable variator.
With a black hard anodized treatment, modified roller sliding ramps to ensure greater linearity of operation, and high-quality materials such as ground hardened steel for the sliding bushing and ground chrome-plated hub, the Malossi MULTIVAR 2000 MHR NEXT variator is synonymous with performance and reliability.
Supplied with two sets of rollers and two shims, this variator allows for precise adjustment of the shift curve of your scooter, ensuring a customized ride for your needs.
And for even better performance, we recommend pairing it with the new X K Belt MHR (art. 6116011) belt.
