Malossi MULTIVAR MHR variator

The Malossi MULTIVAR MHR variator represents the result of the experience gained on the race fields, pushing us towards the creation of a special Racing automatic variator. This new variator offers superior performance and greater reliability without requiring any modifications for replacement compared to the original one.

Inside, you will find a movable half-pulley made of a special die-cast aluminum alloy with a diameter of 99.5 mm. The contact surface between the pulley and the belt is finely finished with diamond tools to ensure a constant friction coefficient, designed to prevent belt slippage and premature wear.

To meet the different tuning needs of competition vehicles, two sets of 6-roller kits are provided, along with a pre-hardened Chrome-Silicon alloy steel contrast spring with a counterclockwise winding, specifically for racing use. In addition, other springs of the same class with differentiated loads are available as optional.

Regarding tuning, the variator is supplied with two different sets of rollers: one set weighing 3.9 grams and one set weighing 4.7 grams, to precisely adjust the scooter's gear change curve and optimize its speed and acceleration.

The certification obtained from Dekra Certification GmbH attests to the effectiveness of the quality management system introduced and applied by Malossi in the production of complete variators and CVT groups, ensuring compliance with the requirements of German and international road traffic regulations (KBA).
