The Malossi cast iron thermal groups are the ideal choice for those who want to improve the performance of their moped without having to modify the exhaust system. The high-quality cast iron ensures excellent durability, while Malossi's precision is reflected in the rigorous selection of cylinders and pistons, maintaining a maximum tolerance of 20 microns.

These thermal groups offer a significant increase in power and torque thanks to the new cast iron cylinder, which has been completely redesigned. The internal transfer ports have been replaced to ensure optimal coupling with the original crankcases. Mounting on original crankcases only requires reaming of the cylinder barrel passage.

Compared to the previous version, the exhaust has been revised both in terms of geometry and timing, ensuring optimal intake. The intake ports are symmetrical and the path of the fresh gas flows has been completely rethought. The rear transfer ports, thanks to the technique of the rear claw, have an adequate inclination and a calculated progression of flow crossing areas. The union of the two rear ducts in the H shape maximizes pumping work, efficiently transferring energy.

All these innovations result in a uniform washing between the right and left sides, improving combustion and significantly increasing the performance of two-stroke engines. The result is an unprecedented increase in performance, which positions Malossi cylinders at the top of the range of cast iron cylinders on the market.
