Malossi aluminum cylinder D 61 piston pin 14 LC without ECU

The Malossi Ø 61 cylinder is a high-quality product for 4-stroke mopeds. Made of aluminum with a diameter of 61 mm and a piston pin of 14 mm, this cylinder offers liquid cooling to ensure optimal performance.

The cylinder is made with a primary alloy of silicon-hardened aluminum, which guarantees strength and durability over time. The cylinder barrel is coated with silicon carbides in a galvanic nickel matrix and polished with two diamond passes for a high-precision finish.

The cylinder is machined on high-precision CNC machines, ensuring a piston coupling selection of only 0.05 mm. The heat exchange surfaces have been recalculated and increased for better heat dissipation.

The compact and lightweight piston is made of a special primary alloy of low thermal expansion silicon aluminum, with a tin coating on the sliding walls. The piston is also machined on CNC machines to ensure extreme precision.

The piston rings are special, with high sliding and exceptional mechanical resistance. The first compression ring is made of nitrided and chromed steel, while the second ring is made of special cast iron. The oil scraper consists of three pieces of special alloyed and chromed steel.
