Boring of the original or C-ONE Malossi crankcase is required, and the connecting rod of the crankshaft is different from the original.

The Testa Rossa BIG BORE cylinders, derived from the seven-transfer technology, represent the latest success achieved through the commitment and study of Malossi. These cylinders are designed for original Piaggio and Yamaha crankcases and offer an unprecedented displacement of 94 cc, guaranteeing superior performance to the BIG BORE family. Externally, the Testa Rossa BIG BORE cylinders are almost indistinguishable from their flanged counterpart and feature a through-bolt pattern compatible with both original engines and the C-ONE Malossi crankcase.

Internally as well, the Testa Rossa BIG BORE cylinders have a total resemblance to the Flanged Mount, thanks to the renowned seven-transfer and double exhaust port configuration. The main difference lies in the internal passage of the bolts, which influences the dimensions and development of the exhaust. The head is removable and features new internal profiles specifically designed to increase torque and engine feel, making it more lively and progressive. The head cover is made of forged aluminum, anodized red, and turned on CNC machines with high precision.
