The Malossi Ø 52 aluminum cylinder kit, with liquid cooling, is designed for the Malossi MHR BIG BORE cylinder kit with a detachable head.
This new generation BIG BORE engine features through bolts and is only compatible with liquid-cooled scooters (7 transfers and exhaust bridge - 1-ring piston - detachable head - requires boring of the original crankcase or Malossi C-ONE - crankshaft with a different connecting rod compared to the original).
The Testa Rossa BIG BORE cylinders, derived from the seven-transfer technology of the revolutionary Flanged Mount, represent the latest success achieved through Malossi's commitment and dedicated study of engines for original Piaggio and Yamaha crankcases.
With an unprecedented displacement of 94 cc, these cylinders offer significantly improved performance to the BIG BORE family.
Aesthetically similar to the Flanged Mount, the Testa Rossa BIG BORE cylinders feature a through bolt pattern compatible with both original engines and the Malossi C-ONE crankcase.
Internally, they also maintain the same seven-transfer configuration and double exhaust port of the Flanged Mount, with the only difference being the limitations imposed by the internal passage of the through bolts, which affect the dimensions and development of the exhaust.
The head is once again detachable, with specially designed internal profiles to increase torque and improve the engine's feel, which is now more lively and progressive.
The head cover is made of forged aluminum, anodized red, and precisely machined using CNC machines.
