The Malossi 4-stroke Ø 70 bi-cylinder in aluminum is a high-quality and reliable product, designed and manufactured entirely in Italy. This thermal group has been specially customized by Malossi for the Yamaha T Max ie 4-stroke LC 500cc from 2004 to 2011, with significant improvements and updates that have significantly increased the bore without compromising the original mechanical and thermal balance.

The split monolithic cylinder is made of a special aluminum-silicon-copper alloy, hardened and stabilized, guaranteeing exceptional strength and durability. The sleeves, with Cermetal coating (ni-ca-sil), are precision machined on state-of-the-art work centers, ensuring optimal performance. The cross-hatching at 110/130° contributes to improving engine efficiency.

The forged Ø 70 pistons, made of a special aluminum alloy (copper-silicon), are hardened and tin-plated. The shaped crown with valve imprint, the racing design, and the reinforcement and lightening with constant thicknesses guarantee greater power and superior performance. The rings, composed of 1st compression in chrome-plated steel, 2nd oil scraper in phosphated steel, and 3rd decomposed in chrome-plated steel with spring, ensure smooth and reliable operation.

Thanks to these improvements and the made in Italy technology, the Malossi 4-stroke Ø 70 bi-cylinder offers a power increase of over 15% compared to the original cylinder. Its extreme reliability makes it ideal for long distances. Every detail has been carefully crafted, from the gaskets to the superalloy steel biconical pin and the chrome-plated and nitrided steel elastic band, to ensure an exclusive and high-quality product.
