It is designed to be used with the MHR TEAM thermal group with a detachable head.

Its special aluminum alloy, with a high percentage of silicon and titanium, guarantees high resistance to high temperatures.

In addition, the special heat treatment gives the material remarkable toughness and rigidity, maintaining its mechanical and dimensional characteristics constant up to temperatures of 250°C.

The chip removal processes are carried out with numerical control machines, guaranteeing very tight dimensional and shape tolerances, such as cylindricity, roundness, and perpendicularity.

The internal surface of the cylinder is coated with silicon carbides on a nickel matrix, heat-treated to ensure very high hardness and remarkable wear resistance.

The internal processing of the cylinder is carried out with special machines to obtain a very high finish on the sliding walls, with the roughness crossing according to the angles set during the design phase.

The exhaust and transfer diagrams have been specifically designed and made for competition, requiring a great effort from Malossi technicians on static engine test benches and on the trophy race fields.

The piston is made of a special alloy with a high percentage of silicon, guaranteeing high resistance to high temperatures and minimal deformability.

The external tin coating ensures a very low friction coefficient.

The piston structure is reinforced to withstand the stresses imposed by a high-level competition thermal group, but at the same time, it is lightweight to reduce inertia forces.
