This system consists of the famous patented adjustable Delta Clutch and the reinforced anti-explosion Wing Clutch Bell, which features dynamically balanced cooling fins. This system has been specially designed for competitive and sport use.
The Delta Clutch was developed in the scooter racing environment and quickly established itself as the benchmark tool for vehicle tuning. Its simplicity allows for quick adjustment of the counter spring tension against centrifugal force and replacement of the spring itself with others of different stiffness, available in the Malossi catalog. Furthermore, it is possible to vary the position of the weight that determines the pressure of the friction material against the inner wall of the bell and even replace the weight itself with one of different weight.
The entire system is patented to protect it from counterfeiters and copiers trying to bypass the invention. The Delta clutch has been adopted by all racing teams and a wide range of sports enthusiasts, resulting in a constant increase in sales over time. The Wing Clutch Bell is made of DC04 mild steel obtained through cold stamping. The central hub is made of carbon steel obtained from a bar and welded using Tig welding. It has undergone a soft nitriding thermochemical treatment. The finned reinforcement ring is made of carbon steel through chip removal with a surface treatment of burnishing and is fitted with interference. The bell has been dynamically balanced 100%.
