The Malossi MHR throttle body with oval Ø 37 is a high-quality product designed to increase the performance of your Yamaha T-Max. Made of Ergal 7975-T6 and black anodized, this throttle body has been specifically designed to ensure maximum performance in combination with the Double PowerCam.
Its internal diameter expands up to 37 mm, allowing for greater fuel intake for the engine. The internal ducts are designed cylindrically near the trumpets, and then gradually become oval at the collectors. This variation in internal shape allows fresh gases to be pushed with greater energy into the cylinder head, which features two intake valves.
The specific trumpets for the MHR throttle body are calculated and optimized to achieve maximum performance from the oval sections of the bodies, ensuring a perfect fuel flow. This throttle body can be used with the original ride by wire system for throttle control. It is recommended to pair it with the FM3 ECU art. 5519341, which contains a dedicated map for this throttle body and the Double Power Cam art. 5919140.
