The Malossi RACING intake manifold Ø 22x28 inclined is an essential component for Yamaha, MBK, and Minarelli vertical 2-stroke engines with a displacement of 50cc. This intake manifold plays a fundamental role in ensuring maximum engine performance.

The overall performance of an engine depends on various factors, including volumetric, thermodynamic, and mechanical efficiency. Volumetric efficiency indicates the amount of air-fuel mixture that can enter the combustion chamber relative to the engine displacement. The intake manifold plays a key role in maximizing volumetric efficiency by minimizing friction losses during the passage of the mixture.

In addition, the intake manifold acts as a reservoir for fresh charge, allowing the mixture to compress against the reeds when the reed valve closes. This component is designed to ensure maximum performance within a specific engine speed range.

In addition to these functions, the intake manifold also connects the carburetor to the engine crankcase or cylinder, playing an important role in dampening vibrations and preventing fuel and air emulsion in the carburetor float bowl.

With its extensive experience in the field of engine fuel systems, Malossi has developed a new line of rubber and aluminum alloy manifolds for the latest generation scooters. These manifolds have been tested and developed by the Malossi research department, both on the road and on race circuits.

Malossi rubber manifolds feature a composite structure, with an aluminum insert embedded in a plastic material resistant to oils and gasoline. This ensures a rigid attachment base to the crankcase and good elasticity of the manifold body.

Please note that some minor modifications to the surrounding plastics may be necessary to install MHR manifolds.
