The Malossi MHR TEAM II internal rotor ignition with a Ø 20 cone is an absolute novelty in the field of competitions. Thanks to its advanced technology, this ignition simultaneously manages multiple maps without the need to use handheld devices, but simply with a click. Furthermore, it allows you to shift the selected map by moving the OFFSET (+ or - 2°).

The Malossi ignitions have been designed to overcome the technical limitations of the original flywheel-ignition groups, which do not guarantee a constant performance beyond 10,000 rpm, causing tuning problems. To overcome these problems, the control unit has been made even more immune to disturbances, thanks to a microprocessor based on uP STM8 - 8 Bit with superior computing power @ 20 MIPS. This guarantees a much higher spark accuracy compared to the previous version.

The MHR Team II range is equipped with a non-remappable variable advance control unit with 3 trimmers. The first trimmer (MAPS) allows you to select the advance map, while the second trimmer (OFFSET) allows you to shift the selected map by +/- 2°. The third trimmer (LIM), indicated especially for 4-stroke engines, allows you to vary the intervention of the rev limiter (from 11,500 to 14,300 Rpm + limiter excluded). Furthermore, there are 8 preset mappings available, 7 for 2-stroke engines with variable advance and 1 with fixed advance.

The high voltage coil has been improved to deliver a maximum discharge voltage of over 40 KV for normal engine rotation speeds of over 3000 RPM. Furthermore, the rise time is over 1750 V/uS at 10 bar. The rotor-stator group has been completely redesigned from a mechanical and electronic point of view, reducing the weight of the stator part by about 30% and improving the electrical efficiency by 20%. The minimum starting speed has been reduced from 450 RPM to 370 RPM.

The control unit is equipped with wiring with a temperature class of 105°C and a miniaturized waterproof connector certified IP67. The rotor has a diameter of 58 mm and is equipped with Neodymium permanent magnets. It is important to note that with this type of ignition, the vehicle's electrical system is excluded.
