The Malossi Power ignition is an essential technical component for Piaggio mopeds that come with electronic ignition as standard. Often overlooked in engine preparations, the ignition plays a vital role in managing the precise moment when the spark is generated on the spark plug and regulates the amount of current that determines the quality of the spark itself, in order to achieve optimal combustion.

Whether for modified engines or original ones, replacing the ignition with a modern and high-performance model is an operation that can revive the engine itself and allow for more effective and simpler tuning. Malossi and its team of engineers are proud to present Power, the 12 Volt electronic ignition dedicated to the Piaggio moped family that comes with electronic ignition as standard.

This ignition, the first of its kind, stands out for its plug & play installation simplicity typical of a product. The kit includes everything necessary for proper installation and immediate use. Inside the Power package, you will find:

• an adapter ring to properly fix the stator to the crankcase
• a 12 Volt 4-pole stator (90 watts)
• a lightweight flywheel (mass 885 gr for a moment of inertia of 16.2 Kg/cm2) made from a hot-pressed solid and designed to withstand even the highest rotation speeds
• a red plastic fan
• a dedicated ready-to-use wiring with an output cable for battery charging or stereo connection for original modifications
• a voltage regulator
