Special Price €389.00 Regular Price €486.18The Malossi crankshaft is designed for engines with reed valves and offers high-level performance. Made of high-quality hardened steel used in aeronautics, it is extremely resistant to scratches.
The viper head connecting rod is designed to minimize weight and ensure necessary rigidity. The threading on the transmission side has also been improved to increase strength. The position of the key has been revised to avoid damaging the threading and contribute to its resistance.
The crankshafts are supplied with special, more resistant nuts. Different connecting rod lengths are available for small frame Vespa models.
The crankshaft dedicated to engines with rotary valves has standard measurements. The Malossi crankshaft with full shoulders is intended for Vespa engines modified to use a reed valve intake system.
Optimal balance is guaranteed by the tungsten inserts. The transmission side semi-shoulder features specially designed chamfers to facilitate the entry of fresh gases into the crankcase. The circular mass structure benefits from this new crankshaft and crankcase configuration, receiving the maximum amount of pressure possible.
