The Malossi RHQ crankshaft is a high-quality component. Equipped with a Ø 12 pin and a stroke of 39.8 mm, this crankshaft is the heart of the internal combustion engine. Its presence is essential to ensure optimal performance.
Malossi is committed to producing only top-class crankshafts, using high-quality materials such as 18 Ni Cr Mo5 for the half-shafts. These half-shafts and rotating masses are monolithic and forged, ensuring greater strength and durability over time.
The machining is carried out on highly precise machine tools, ensuring superior quality. Furthermore, all components undergo five heat treatments, which contribute to increasing their reliability.
The surface finish is particularly high, which further improves the reliability of the crankshaft. Additionally, dynamic balancing has been performed up to 16,000 rpm, ensuring smooth and vibration-free operation.
The connecting rod is forged in 18 Ni Cr Mo5 copper-plated and coupled to the crankshaft through a precision roller bearing, designed to withstand high speeds.
