The Malossi RHQ crankshaft is a high-quality component. Equipped with a 12 mm diameter piston pin and a stroke of 39.3 mm, this crankshaft is the heart of the internal combustion engine. Its importance is crucial for achieving optimal performance.
Malossi exclusively produces first-class crankshafts, ensuring high efficiency and reliability. The half-shafts are made of 18 Ni Cr Mo5 material, while the rotating masses are monolithic and forged. The processing is carried out on highly precise machine tools, and all components undergo five heat treatments. The surface finish is of high quality to improve reliability.
In addition, the crankshaft undergoes dynamic balancing up to 16,000 rpm. The connecting rod is forged in 18 Ni Cr Mo5 copper-plated and coupled to the crankshaft through a precision roller bearing for high speeds.
